what we've been doing

As I mentioned in the last post, there isn't much happening around here that isn't painting or cleaning. Over the last month, everything has been moved in and out of the house at least once.

Here we are, hanging out on the back porch - trying to stay out of the way and not get stepped on.

These daggy looking steps have now been painted charcoal grey and look much better. Ah, the power of paint.

Here is a photo of us helping Neil celebrate winning this big trophy. Seems he was the one who rode his motorbike the most over the year. He was pretty pleased with his win. To me it just meant he had zoomed off without me too many times!

We don't blog so much these days, but we always read everyone else's posts. Kay says it's the only cheerful, non-political news she gets these days (except when it's about one of our friends crossing the bridge - then we get a bit teary and sad). So everyone, stay happy and well!

  2. Wyatt took the words right out of my AireMouth. A sidecar would be perfect so you girls can go along too. Congratulations, Neil!

    Love ya lots,

  3. Congrats to your Neil! We didn't know people were awarded trophies for riding their motorcycles. Maybe because they save on gas?! Good to see you both again. OH...Hootie started agility class in January. He isn't the best at it, but seems to be coming along.

  5. That's smart to stay away from the paint. Every time I paint, it seems one dog or the other gets painted, too. How does that happen?
Congrats, Neil; that's a fine trophy.

  6. Nice garden, nice trophy! We don't understand why you couldn't help paint though. A little spilled paint never hurt any Hooligan! AAARRROOOO!!
