Today we went out to practice my jumping and weaving poles. I've started learning agility lately, it's way more fun than obedience - but Kay says I need to do both.

To tell you the truth, I find those weave poles a bit baffling... but jumping things is easy peasy.

I got to play with my new Christmas ball on a rope - that was good. It has a little bell in the middle which makes things even more exciting. I'll chew that out tomorrow, I think.

Neil took some videos of me - first doing two little jumps and some weave poles and then one of me doing a big, wide jump. They are slowed down a bit so you can appreciate how well I do them - otherwise, I'm just a flash of fur going past!

doing my biggest jump yet!

  3. Hello Ruby
    Bella of Kalateenee here

I am envious of your ability to leap long jumps.
my girl has been threatening to take me to some aerobic
classes too but she spends too much of her time with Cyril and Irene
those spoilt monster equine dogs from the paddock that eat grass
(but I must admit they make nice poo though!)
anyway to add to the empty promises, of being pampered at the poodle
parlour she gets the horse clippers out last week and gave me the worst hair cut
you would ever imagine. I am cool in the heat of the day but very
    uncool in the poodle fashions.
Life of a poodle isn't that glamorous when you live in the bush.
The only advantage there is lots of nice flavours of poo to roll in.
I am going to the beach soon it looks like fun
    – more action than the farm dam!
    PS
I got a quivering mouse for Xmas it was tooo scarey and it made me cry,
my brother Feral Frank tried to kill it for me - he is so brave and strong.
Brother Doug (the Pug) also helped with his best ugly look for moral support.
That horrible mouse is banished to the top of the dresser - but one day we
will coax it down and put an end to its tormenting, quivering ways.

I would love to be your agility groupie
maybe we can leap together one day

    Bella
