Trip to the beach

We got to get away for a quick break to the beach last weekend - it was good fun. I dug an amazing, big hole - nearly to China (which isn't actually so far from Australia).
I was a full-on Airedale digging machine. Watch me in action! Neil said there was a crab at the bottom, but I never did find it.

Then on the way back, we stopped at a cafe in Buladelah and Kay and Neil had burgers and chips. I have told them that all the other Airedales get to share the chips (and pizza and ice cream). And then... I got one!

Mmmm, very nice too.

Life is good!

  1. Yikes Ruby, you are most certainly an awesome digging machine! We have never seen the ocean, but that sand stuff looks fab. Now we want to visit a real doggy beach on the ocean. hmmm. Maybe San Diego, California Mom?? Dad??

Now about that digging....you must be the most enthusiastic digger we've ever met. Good work Rubs.

  5. That hole was amazing! I'm so glad you got to eat some chips! I'm going to tell my mom to take me to the beach as soon as its not so cold so I can try to dig a hole that big!

  6. Excellent digging Ruby. You deserved the ice cream after all your hard work.

Good decision of yours to dig away from the hoomans, we made a slight error once and flung the sand over our hoomans. They were none too pleased!
