That bath idea is spreading around the net. Good one Maggie.Kay said that I definitely needed a bath, 'cause I smelled.
Yes, and I thought I was smelling rather good too - a rich, complex aroma that all my friends seemed to like. Now I smell like medicated dog wash - that doesn't seem to be much of an improvement to me!
But I must say that since I have been using this latest medicated shampoo I haven't gotten any of those nasty hot spots at all this summer.
That and losing a bit of weight and getting a low protein dog food - not sure which part made the difference, but something's working.
Now, if I can just find something good and dead to roll in...
Oh Ruby, Ruby, I'm right there with you girl. When I get a bath, get brushed out or even get my monthly Frontline Plus application----it's hit the deck! I'm all over the floor and if there was a nice,rancid dead animal to roll in I'd be in heaven! While here in Phoenix,Arizona I'm trapped in a condo with no where to run. Feel sorry for me Ruby. I miss my country life.

ReplyDeleteMy girl always has to think twice whenever she wants to give me a bath because it's not JUST a bath... it's a wrasslin' match (and I'm 85 lbs of gooberific Airedale)! So, she'll wait til she can take me to the doggie wash place and tether me into the tub. (I won't stay in the bathtub.)
I bet you'll smell like yourself in no time. You can't help but smell naturally good. I'm laughing that Maggie & her mama set something in motion with that blog post. hehehe
